Kit Sabers FAQ

Qn. What are the Colors available?

Ans: There are currently 6 colors available in our collection - Blue, White, Orange, Green, Royal Blue & Red.

Refer to below for our color chart .

Cyan, Violet, Yellow, Pink are available now.

Qn. How are the sabers lighted?

Ans: The sabers are lidded up by a LED placed within the Hilt of the saber. The LED light is projected into the Blade, which has been lined with diffusing paper. This explains the flare at the base of the blade when lighted up.

Qn. How are the sabers powered?

Ans: This is dependent on the sabers's design.

Standard sabers uses 3 x AA for Red & Orange and 4 x AAA for Blue, Royal Blue, Green & White..

Qn. Is there warranty for the sabers?

Ans: We provide a warranty of 90days for all internal defects for all sabers.

However, the following are not covered in our warranty
- LED failure due to overdrive (Yes, I can tell)
- Saber subjected to water torturing....Its a lightsaber not a underwater searchlight =(
- Mishandling of sabers For Example: Dueling with Katana, Running over Steamroller, using it as a night Javelin etc etc...u get what i mean =)
- Improper disassembling by customers.

About KitSabers

Our series of sabers were created based on an inspiration from the Sci-fi movie Star Wars. We do not seek to produce replicas. Instead we seek to make a name for ourselves by patiently hand crafting each and every saber in our collection.
The entire process from design to sourcing for material and finally hand-crafting the sabers were done by me. We want to satisfy our collectors by making sure that only the best material goes into creating the sabers and of course minimizing any defects in the final output. As the sabers are hand-crafted there are bound to be slight variation amongst the sabers.
The main attraction of our sabers is the tube used. The tubes are made of clear polycarbonate. These tubes are as clear as glass but 250times stronger. It is also high impact resistance as compared to its cousin – the acrylic tubes. Its high impact resistance properties makes it possible to spar with, should the collector chooses to do so.
The sabers are lidded by LUXEON High Power LED lighting that lasts longer than any conventional light source and are well-known for its vivid saturated colors. These LED lights are so bright that you can light up an entire room on its own =P

We sell standard black hilt sabers but also produce special designed sabers. These special designs are whilst stock last. We also work with our collectors in customizing sabers according to their designs. Of course, there are limitations in customization depending on design and available materials.
